Hickory Ridge Oufitters is located in Southeast Nebraska near
the town of Crab Orchard. Our hunts take place on some of the best
Whitetail habitat in the state. Hunts start on Mondays and end on
Saturday. You will stay in modern cabins, complete with TV, microwave,
coffee maker, etc. A shower house and bathroom are located near the
cabins.
Your hunt will include three meals a day and hunters will dine in the
main house for family style meals. Ida is a great cook and if you are
not careful, she will send you home a few pounds heavier than when you
arrived.
Hickory Ridge Outfitters is a bow hunting only operation. We are bow
hunters ourselves and know how to put out hunters on a stand to make the
most of their hunt. We offer fair chase hunts and although we do not
guarantee you a trophy, we will do our best to put you on a trophy buck.
A six day hunt with us runs $1750.00 and is good for one Buck.
Non-Resident tags are available over the counter. If you should fill
your tag and wish to, you may purchase another tag of either sex. Should
you take another Buck, that will be an additional $500. You make take a
Doe without any additional cost. If you should shoot a Buck and fail to
recover it, it will be considered down and the $500 trophy fee will
apply if you should take another Buck.
This is a semi guided hunt and you are responsible for care of an animal
after you have taken it. We of course will help you track it and get it
out and can recommend a good locker for processing and caping of your
trophy. Any fees for caping and processing are your responsibility. A
$500.00 deposit is required to book a hunt and is non-refundable. If you
should decide to cancel we will be happy to reschedule or you may
substitute another hunter. Balance of hunt fee of $1250.00 is due upon
your arrival.
